Our Tour Activities

This 1-week sailing itinerary promises an extraordinary blend of nature, wildlife, and relaxation, creating an expedition that will forever hold a special place in your heart.

So, come aboard The Oracle Yacht and let the magic of Komodo Island unfold before your eyes.

Day 1

Labuan Bajo (Embarkation)

Our crew will meet you at the airport with refreshing cold towels and mineral water, and you will be swiftly transferred to the harbor in Labuan Bajo.

Upon arrival on The Oracle Yacht, our highly experienced cruise director will welcome you aboard with safety and briefings before serving lunch and heading to our first destination.

Depending on our arrival time, it may be possible to have a check dive or snorkel before relaxing with sunset cocktails and having your first dinner experience in this unique natural paradise.

Day 2

Gili Lawa

This area of the Komodo National Park is home to some of the most famous dive sites in the area. Sites such as Castle and Crystal Rock offer huge schools of fish, taking advantage of the current to feed.

Shotgun, when dived on a rising tide, is like no other site in the world, with a good chance of reef mantas and sharks. For the less adventurous, China Shop, LightHouse and Crystal Bay offer some excellent beginner sites surrounded by deserted sandy beaches.

Enjoy some sunset cocktails on the roof while the chef prepares the first of many sumptuous evening meals.

Day 3

Padar Island

After a restful sleep and a nutritious breakfast, we head to Komodo National Park. Exciting dive sites like Batu Bolong, Taka Makassar, Mawan, and Siaba Besar await us, attracting large schools of predatory fish due to the tidal flow.

Morning dives offer thrilling encounters with giant trevally, big eye jacks, dogtooth tuna, and barracudas searching for their breakfast. Taka Makassar is a popular spot for manta feeding and cleaning. We embark on a sunset trek on Padar Island.

Back on the vessel, treat yourself to a relaxing massage before savoring the chef’s delightful creations. The bay is perfect for watersports, relaxing on the beach or cruising around for spotting the local wildlife.

Day 4

Rinca Island

Early morning, before the day’s heat, is the best time to search for Komodo dragons. Our crew will escort you, along with the local rangers, through the dense brush in search of these ancient beasts.

You might also see water buffalo, monkeys, wild boar and various birds and reptiles. On your return to The Oracle Yacht, a hearty breakfast awaits you. Komodo Bay is a perfect spot to use the kayaks or paddleboards.

After lunch, we can visit the famous Pink Beach nearby and continue our expedition to Nusa Kode.

Day 5

South Rinca

Jurassic-like bays, cliffs, forests, and seas form a timeless land. Monkeys, deer, and boar attract Komodo dragons. Brahminy kites and sea eagles rule the skies. Cooler waters and the touch of the Indian Ocean nurture diverse marine life—frogfish, sea apples, nudibranchs, dolphins, whales, and mobula rays.

Cannibal Rock, Yellow Wall, Torpedo Alley, Boulders— world-class dives with treasures on every surface.

Day 6

Manta Point

We make our way back north to the central area of the park to visit some sites we have yet to experience. Siaba, Mawan and Tatawa islands have multiple spectacular snorkeling and diving sites, and it’s always good to visit Batu Bolong again on the opposite side from a few days ago.

After lunch, we can make a short excursion to the sandbar at Taka Makassar before submerging at Manta Point to search for schooling mantas.

In the evening, we head to Kalong, a protected Mangrove reserve, for a unique spectacle of nature you will likely never forget.

Day 7

Sebayor

In the morning, we will arrive at the Sebayor Islands. Located just outside the national park, this area is ideal for fishing and various water sports. We can visit a small village that is very welcoming to foreigners, relax onboard with a massage from our spa therapist or just chill on a secluded beach and read a book.

Of course, depending on your flight times tomorrow, snorkeling and diving options are available. In the evening, we can dine al fresco on the beach or under the stars on the top deck of the vessel.

Day 8
